Julian Katari
Born in the amazon of Bolivia, raised in the heart of Mexico city, 5 years of teenage living in Oregon approached Julian to mountaineering, the wilderness and to the English language, which is the biggest tool he has today that allows him to bring native ancestral wisdom to the world.
At age 16 he was initiatied by a native Lakota and since embarked on an epic journey of shamanic transformation and practice. This part of his journey is shared in the book Shamanic Transformations where he participates alongside better known authors like Sandra Ingerman, Alberto Villoldo and Oscar Miró-Quesada.
Few years later he makes his life in the central toltec lands where he joins an aztec legacy dance group, and few years later makes a life in the maya lands, where he becomes a maya daykeeper or aj'qu'ij.
His next stage brings him back to his birthplace in Bolivia where he continues his path as a sariri and amawt'a, and creates the Muxuq Nina tribe and the Seed of a New World project.
Native Journey is born alongside and later takes him to create alliances with magical communities like Rune Soup, humanity evolution projects like Aloha Ayni Tao Living and partnerships with conservation associations and indigenous rights advocacy groups.
His latest project, the Circle of Medicine, seeks to create a fully engaged community of teaching and healing that can guide participants to become healed, empowered through shamanic and ancestral knowledge, and fully sovereign through community-making as told by the prophecies of the Eagle and the Condor. His sacred banner is the Union of the Hearts of the Eagle and the Condor.
